Northern Central Railway of York Acquires Historic New Freedom Train Station

Northern Central Railway of York will be moving its gift shop and station operations to the Historic New Freedom Train Station, located at 117 N. Front street, this month. This move brings train operations back to the historic railroad station that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Bringing train operations back down the line to the Historic New Freedom Train Station will improve customer experiences, provide reliable handicap accessibility, and highlight the immense history connected to the Northern Central Railway of York, the Historic New Freedom Station, and the NCR line.
