Seven Valleys Picnic Train
Celebrate our 8th Anniversary with us on this special excursion! Relax during this scenic train ride through the Heritage Rail Trail County Park. We’re traveling to Seven Valleys, PA where you’ll disembark for a 1 & 1/2 hour layover. Bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy or pre-order a boxed lunch from the New Freedom Roasting Company & Deli. After lunch, enjoy playing outdoor games or explore the town of Seven Valleys. Entertainment will be provided by the Susquehanna Travellers. Don’t forget your lawn chairs and blankets!
Pre-order your picnic by 10:00 AM with New Freedom Roasting Company & Deli. For delivery options select Pick Up, Seven Valleys Train Station June 13th – 12:00 PM. A limited quantity of lunches will be available to purchase on-site in Seven Valleys.
Glen Rock Train
Travel to Glen Rock, PA on this 1 hour excursion with our historic PRR GP9 Diesel Locomotive built in 1959 on a former Pennsylvania Railroad mainline that has been in operation since 1838. Your ride follows the route of the original Northern Central Railroad through the scenic Heritage Rail Trail County Park. Learn about the history of the towns and villages you pass along the way.
